On-Site Visit
$99.99 -
This is the minimum fee to come to your
location. The service includes a diagnostic to determine the cause of the problem,
recommend a solution and provide an estimate for repairs.
If a repair is not what you require, the On-Site Visit
can be used as a consultation regarding improvements,
upgrades and additions to enhance the capabilities of your
current technology.
Advanced System Repair
Typically used for
virus, spyware and rootkit removal. A final quote will be
provided once the Pro is on-site and can see the
malfunction, diagnose the cause of the problem and identify
the work needed to resolve the issue. Once you approve the
quote, the Pro will perform the agreed upon work for the
agreed upon price. If you choose not to have the work
required to repair the issue performed, then you pay only
the On-Site Visit fee of $99.99 which covers the diagnostic
work performed.
Operating System Service
Install/Re-install/Upgrade of Windows or Mac OSX
Installation of one (1) operating system on a properly
functioning computer
Installation of all drivers required for internal
components of the computer to function properly
Installation of all critical updates
Includes
installation of software titles originally supplied by
the manufacture (If doing a restore or required
for
proper functionality)
Test
operating system for proper functionality
NOTE:
Installation of external devices (printer, scanner,
external modem, etc.) or additional software will
require additional charges
NOTE:
Client must provide Restore/Recovery Disc(s) or
Operating System Disc(s)
Data Backup / Transfer
Up
to 20GB - iTechPro will backup data to a compatible device
(CD, DVD, NAS, Hard Drive, another PC, etc.) that the client
provides and/or move that data from one computer to another.
Usability of the data is dependent on the operating system
and software installed on the destination computer and thus
may not be accessible on the new computer. iTechPro does not
move programs such as Microsoft Word - only the data created
by Word - i.e. the Word documents are moved.
Software installations are a separate fee.
Excludes data
recovery attempts for any lost/deleted data or from a failed
or failing hard drive.
Internet Service Setup
Install and
configure ISP equipment and ensure that one computer (which
is directly connected to the ISP equipment) is able to view
web pages. This service does not include wired or wireless
networking of any kind. If client needs both Networking and
ISP setup they would need the Base Networking Service with
an Add-On ISP Setup.
Networking Service
This service includes troubleshooting an existing network or
installation and configuration of one router plus connection
of up to three networked devices either wired or wireless.
Each additional network device connection is an Add-On Tier
1 service. When a networked printer is installed, the
printer software must be installed on each computer...
iTechPro will install this software on one computer to
ensure functionality, additional printer software installs
are an Add-On Tier 1 service. More complex deployments such
as those that require multiple access points or repeaters
will require an on-site consultation after which iTechPro
will provide a quote for the project.
Physically
setup and configure a network router which includes:
1. Physically connect router to ISP modem
2. Update
router firmware
3.
For
Wireless Routers: Change default SSID
4.
For
Wireless Routers: Enable wireless encryption on the
wireless network
5.
Change
Administrator password (and username if possible)
6.
Verify
that up to 3 computers/devices are able to connect
to the
network, and browse the web.
Network up
to 3 computers/devices, which can include:
1. Configure and test file and print sharing if
requested.
2.
Provide client with the ability to stream media to
televisions, home
theater equipment, etc.
3.
Configure network enabled printers
Network
Troubleshooting - Includes Reconfigure & Reconnect to
the Internet (if necessary)
NOTE:
All devices must be in good working order and
virus/spyware/malware free.
NOTE: This service does NOT
include any device repair, troubleshooting, etc.
Computer System Setup
Computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, any included speakers
plus one additional item that connects directly to the
computer (no networking included, additional item is
typically a printer).
