Home Maintenance Plan
Overview:
This plan is designed to
focus on necessary maintenance for Windows or Mac computers
such as service packs, security updates and other software
patches thus ensuring enhanced system stability, reliability
and security and consequently minimizing the prospect of a
very expensive, major repair.
This plan includes
performance of maintenance tasks, plus, iTechPro will be on
call to respond to issues or service requests that are
beyond the scope of typical maintenance. Maintenance tasks
will be performed via remote control sessions. Any
non-maintenance tasks or on-site visits requested and
performed are not included in the plan and are paid for at
the time that service is rendered.
Maintenance: Maintenance tasks will be done soon
after the second Tuesday of the month. The client will
be contacted to set up a time for remote maintenance to
be performed. Maintenance tasks include:
Service packs for
Windows, Windows critical updates, Windows important
updates, Windows driver updates. Macs: Apple
software updates.
Microsoft Office service packs and updates
Service packs and updates for other application
software: Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Java, FireFox,
Apple software (iTunes, QuickTime, Safari), Google
Chrome
Delete unneeded temporary files to free up disk
space and improve performance
Check functionality of existing antivirus and
antispyware security software, existing software
firewalls and existing backup systems.
Check event log for issues that may need to be
addressed.
Non-Maintenance: iTechPro will also be on call
and ready to respond to non-maintenance tasks you
identify and request that we address. Typical
non-maintenance tasks might include:
Diagnose and resolve
internet issues, wired or wireless network issues,
computer software or hardware malfunctions
Set up of new computers or adding a new device to
the network
New software or hardware installation (printers,
scanners, security software, Office software, etc.)
Virus Removal and Operating System Repair
Data transfers, set up of or resolve issues with
backup systems
Tech support for mobile devices such as iPhone,
Android, Windows and Blackberry phones, etc.
Tech support for tablet devices
Additional Benefits: Clients signed up for the
plan also receive the following additional benefits:
One (1) free on-site
diagnostic per year.
Non-Maintenance Residential Base Services are
discounted 15%
New clients who are not already using a security
suite have the option to purchase Norton Internet
Security with a one year subscription (for up to 3
computers) for a discounted price of $39.99 (MSRP
$69.99). Subsequent subscription renewals after the
first year are the responsibility of the client.
Pricing:
Home Maintenance Plan: Base
monthly fee for the first computer: $35 per month.
Additional computers at the same location can be added for
$25 (~30% off) per month, per additional computer. One (1)
year minimum term.
Non-Maintenance Services: iTechPro’s standard
residential pricing model will apply except that all base
services will be discounted 15%. Add-On services will be
billed at the standard price.
